Supplies
8x8 Burlap Canvas
Mailing Label or Printer Paper with Adhesive Backing
Spray Paint (Chalkboard Paint or Matte Finish Works well)
Screw Hanging Hooks
Exacto Knife
Instructions
Print key template on paper with adhesive backing Click Here for Printable Key Template
Use Exacto Knife to cut out key graphic and letters
Peel off adhesive backing and attach to burlap canvas
Spray light layers of the spray paint until design is filled in
Peel off adhesive stencil paper
Take three small hanging hooks and spray paint them the same color that you want the stencil outlines to be in. (They can be purchased at any hardware store)
Once dry, screw hooks into the wood frame of the canvas. The canvas is soft, and so you should be able to screw them in by hand.
Ta-da! The final product can be hung wherever you choose. Some of the most popular places would be the kitchen or laundry room, or right outside of the garage. Wherever gets the most traffic in your house.
Enjoy the stress-free life of never losing your keys again! Keep track of them with this good-looking, fresh DIY Key Organizer.
