National Relaxation Day

National Relaxation Day is this Saturday, August 15. This has been one wild year full of unknowns, transitions, life-altering events and changes. It is important as humans to set aside time for yourself to relax and unwind.
We often times feel the need to constantly stay busy in order to feel productive. When in reality, a face-paced life with no breaks can cause stress and exhaustion, which can be detrimental to our emotional and physical health.
Here are some activities to take advantage of National Relaxation Day:

Watch a movie
Go shopping – treat yourself!
Go on a walk – whether it is a park, beach, or just in your neighborhood, put in your headphones and listen to some of your favorite music. Enjoy the outdoors!

Start a new Netflix series
Journal
Paint
Draw
DIY craft
Go out for lunch with a friend
