“The willingness of America’s veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude.”
– Jeff Miller
Memorial Day is dedicated to honoring and mourning the people who died while serving in the U.S. Military.
There is no "thank you" that could truly encompass the gratitude and gratefulness we have towards the people who have risked their lives to protect this country.
Today we mourn and remember the soldiers who were brave and selfless. The soldiers who gave up their lives for others. The soldiers who didn't come home.
There are a few ways to pay respects today, such as:
- Flying the U.S. flag at half staff until noon
- Take a moment of silence at 3 p.m.
- Set flowers and/or flags on veterans grave sites
Today, make sure to consciously remember, respect and mourn our fallen veterans. Memorial Day is all about a great sacrifice that is worth remembering.
